West Brom had their three match unbeaten run snapped at the weekend at the hands of Newcastle United. Strong results against Chelsea and Aston Villa in back to back draws the two weeks prior saw three points dropped against Newcastle United and lost was a chance to leap into the top half of the table.

With only one win in their last seven matches, Steve Clark's side will hope that the home confines of the Hawthorns will see them have some advantage over their visitors.

Manchester City have been on a goal scoring frenzy since the month of November and will hope that their high firing offense can once again be the difference.

However, that high powered offense has not been so ready to strike in away fixtures as City have seen away upsets to Cardiff City and Sunderland to name a few and need to make sure they do not drop points once again.

The Baggies have already taken points from Arsenal and Manchester United and if they play their game and get their tactics right they could frustrate City into submission.

City have scored at least two goals in 12 their last 15 Premier League matches and eight of their last nine games have seen an average of three or more.

West Brom have conceded twice in all of their last three games and will have to make sure they do not allow City to run up the score line at home.

West Brom XI: Myhill; Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell; Mulumbu, Yacob; Amalfitano, Sessegnon, Brunt; Long.

City XI: Pantilimon; Zabaleta, Demichelis, Lescott, Clichy; Navas, Toure, Fernandinho, Nasri; Aguero; Negrado.
