West Brom v Liverpool: Projected lineups
Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge made short work of West Brom back in October as the Uruguayan notched a hat-trick within the first 60 minutes with the Englishman scoring his consolation goal in the 77th minute.
West Brom have had a tough year and have looked a far cry from the side that upset Liverpool last year at the Hawthorns. Former Liverpool assistant manager Steve Clark also was shown the door earlier in the season with the Baggies having continued to fall down the table.
Currently the Midlands club sit just above the drop zone on 22 points with three draws and a win in their last six matches. Although they put up a great fight against Aston Villa in the Midlands Derby earlier in the week, the club will have a tough test against their visitors.
Liverpool are undefeated in their last four matches and after their crushing victory over Everton they will be primed to continue their push up the table and their quest to solidify a place in the top four.
The return of young Jon Flannagan has already seen a distinct increase in their ability to transition better out of defense as the 21-year-old has shown that he is more than ready for a full time job in the first team.
Liverpool should have the upperhand in this one, but if they do not keep their defensive line on-point there is a chance their unpredictable away form could see them falter, but their two wins in their last eight away from home have been won with them scoring five goals.
West Brom XI: Foster: Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell; Mulumbu, Yacob; Amalfitano, Morrison, Brunt; Anichebe.
Liverpool XI: Mignolet: Flannagan, Skrtel, Toure, Cissokho; Gerrard, Henderson; Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez; Sturridge.
