Mais Hamdan devoted to reading the Quran

Jordanian actress Mais
Hamdan revealed that during the holy month of Ramadan she reads a portion of
the holy Quran daily, before heading to filming studios.
Mais said that she
also goes to the gym daily during Ramadan, since she is prone to gaining weight
from overeating during the holiday season.
According to the
internet website MBC.net, Mais said that she anxiously awaits the arrival of
the month of Ramadan and dedicates a large portion of her time to worship.
“I enjoy spending time
with my family and friends during the month, and I hold many gatherings for
‘Iftar’ (the daily meal breaking the fast), said Mais.
On a different note,
Mais said that she refused to work with Egyptian director Khaled Yousif because
she did not want to play seductive roles requiring and intimate scenes.
Khaled’s films have achieved great success, but the roles he nominated Mais for
were “too seductive” and not suitable for her, she said.
