Qamar with Hisham and Rasha Sharbatji

Syrian actress Qamar Khalaf has completed filming her scenes
in the new television drama “Al Muftah” (The Key), which is directed by Hisham
Sharbatji. Qamar is also close to completing her scenes in a different drama
titled “Banat Al Aylah” (Daughters of the family) that is directed by Rasha
Sharbatji.
According to the London based Elaph, Qamar said that the
drama “Al Muftah” gives rise to a number of questions about the rise of social
and political corruption and how officials interpret laws in ways to benefit
their personal needs. Qamar noted that her role in the drama is very different
than any other she played in the past.
Qamar stated that she enjoys taking part in dramas that
tackle important issues in society because they send out important messages. The
drama “Al Muftah” is written by Khaled Khaleefah and produced by the Public
Institution of Radio and Television and will star a number of prominent Syrian actors.
In the second drama “Banat Al Aylah” Qamar plays the role of
a flight attendant.
