A large fire broke out in a Syrian refugee camp near Qibbet Shamra on Saturday. No causalities were reported.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Saturday a major offensive by al-Qaeda's Syria arm Jabat al-Nusra ended Saturday with government forces pulling back into barracks in the center of the city and Nusra fighters seizing control.

The Lebanese army seized a strategic hilltop on the outskirts of Arsal from Daesh and al-Nusra militants in their most recent military offensive.
