Daesh claims to have shot down a Syrian military aircraft in Aleppo province, although state media said the crash was a result of technical problems, AFP has reported.

At least 14 people have been killed after a barrel bomb attack on Deir Ez-Zor in eastern Syria, an opposition group has claimed.
