During the visit to Ma'an Municipality
The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) donated 35 refurbished PCs for Ma'an Municipality in lieu of the ones damaged in the recent events in the governorate.
The supply agreement was signed by Mr. Mustafa Nasereddin, the Executive Director – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International Jordan Offices on behalf of TAG-Org, Ms. Salma Atieh, and Deputy Executive Director of JOHUD, and Mr. Khalid Al-Shamari Al Khatab, head of Ma’an Municipality.
Ms. Atieh expressed in the meeting JOHUD’s pride of its partnership with the local authorities in the areas which the Fund targets to develop, pointing out the importance of cooperation with these authorities to define the needs of the local community and propose development projects that improve the citizens’ standards of living and their potentials.
She also explained the role of Ma’an Municipality in enhancing the national spirit and loyalty of the citizens to serve the development process in their surroundings. The Municipality Court will benefit from these PCs, as well as other affected parties in cooperation and coordination with the Municipality.
On his part, Mr. Nasereddin announced that TAG-Org presents 35 PCs as a gift to the Municipality in lieu of the ones which were damaged in the recent events in Ma’an.
Mr. Nasereddin said that this initiative comes in line with HE Senator Talal Abu- Ghazaleh directives and in coordination with JOHUD management.
Mr. Al-Khatab appreciated JOHUD and TAG-Org efforts in developing the local communities and their prompt response to Ma’an needs in particular, especially in the wake of the recent regrettable events.
