What better a stale conflict is there than Palestine/ Israel for an injection of 'new ideas' the ethos behind TEDx events. Some characteristically chub-tastic coverage on local (in this case world-resonant) events this weekend in Amman.
"I’m here at this long awaited event at the bloggers tables with so many well known bloggers in the Jordanian scene, we’re about to start. I have a feeling that I’m going to be very inspired today which is something I’m sure it’s going to happen since it’s my first time at TED talks and what makes it more special for me and probably for everyone is that it’s coming out from Palestine. i’m happy because organizers thought of those who can’t cross into Palestine and made it possible for people around 3 cities."

Back to TEDxRamallah as it's all the talk of three major Mid-East cities (not to mention Palestine) this weekend:
"The second session of TedXRamallah was so full of interesting speakers, I don’t have enough time now to talk about all of them. One theme that came up in a variety of ways during the second segment, however, was narrative and story telling. Each of the speakers tells an individual story, of course – Munir Fasheh told especially engaging ancedotes from his youth in Jerusalem in 1941."
