'The Terminal' turns real: Kuwait airline leaves passengers stranded in airport 4 days

the usual transit wait...
Stranded and mistreated for 4 days at Kuwait Airport
"Just read this bit of news online that over 150 passengers were stranded at the Kuwait Airport for about four days because the Kuwait Airways flights to Mumbai got cancelled due to some technical problems. These were transit passengers flying in from different countries who had a connecting flight through Kuwait and on top of it all they had to face racial discrimination and extremely rude behavior by the ground staff."

Will this smart Doctor-Dictator take the cue and bow out as CNN is speculating today, or will it be more of the same eloquent and charm-delivered account of conspiracy. Maybe a less charm and light-humourmore stress-taken it's toll?
"Aside from the ridiculous hypocrisy that kept interrupting al-Assad’s speech on March 30, 2011, he was indeed very eloquent (almost as eloquent as Hassan Nasrallah of Hezbollah). Unlike his dictator friends in Libya, Egypt, Yemen, and Tunisia, al-Assad is actually educated (including sub-specialty in ophthalmology from London)."

“Teach them how to ask questions – because that’s how you learn.”
A life of learning: Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it did no harm to the kid. A highly fine-tuned activity among the toddler community is the art of asking questions. Yet infants tend to stop enquiring later if not taught the strength in the whys and the wherefores. Remember, you don't ask, you don't get (or learn!).
"A good friend linked to this article on America’s new historically illiterate generation. In some ways, I think it’s meant to be a wake-up call. It should be. One of my majors in college was History. I loved the study of history. And do you know why? Well, there are several reasons. As a fairly young child (I was an astonishingly precocious reader), my mother would always stop at the Historical Marker signposts long any US Highway we were on."

Encore! Why are Muslims turning Atheists?
"I had a pretty interesting afternoon trying to figure out why so many Muslims have turned Atheists. They seem to come out more now, and don’t care. You would think, that out of all the religions, a conservative one such as Islam, you would not have such a lack of faith."
