The stage was set for one of the highlights of the Saudi football season when Jeddah rivals Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad met in the finals of the King’s Cup of Champions at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah on Friday. Presenting a strong lineup during the game was Toyota’s sole distributor in Saudi Arabia, Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) showcasing two of its stars the FJ Cruiser and Sequoia.
“The game was special not only because it was the final but because of the long-standing rivalry between both teams. With the stadium packed to capacity the game was the perfect platform for us,” said Adel Mohammed Ezzat, Toyota Marketing Director of the SUV division at ALJ. “I want to congratulate both teams not only for their performance today but throughout the Cup. Both sides reached the finals due their quality, strength and durability, three attributes that we clearly relate to our brand.”
