University of Dubai awards 100 outstanding students

The University of Dubai (UD) honored 100 undergraduate students from the College of Business Administration and the College of Information Technology at the UD Campus recently.

The ceremony was held by the Department of Student Services to award both students with exceptional achievements in the academic field and also those who have made outstanding contributions to campus life. Students received their certificates from the Chief Academic Officer, the Dean of the College of Business Administration and the Dean of the College of Information Technology in the presence of UD faculty members, staff and students' families.

Dr Omar Hefni, UD President said: "Excellence has always been one of the essential traditions of this university and we will continue to recognize academic achievements in order to promote competition among our students."
