The new GCC roaming rates will become effective starting July 1st, 2011
In compliance with the GCC Regulation, Kuwait Telecommunications Company VIVA, is introducing its new 2011 roaming rates for customers traveling to any GCC destination. The new rates will become effective starting July 1st, 2011.
On the new roaming rates, VIVA has always aimed at providing its customers with the most efficient services, and will continue to aim at offering customers new and competitive promotions, products and services that will benefit them most.
Along with VIVA’s existing roaming service, customers traveling to any of the GCC destinations will have the ability to use their line with lower roaming rates using VIVA. Customers can make and receive local and international calls as well as send and receive SMS text messages, divert their calls to any other number and use the Missed Calls Alert Plus. With data roaming service, customers can check e-mail, read news, view content, send and receive MMS and use all data services. When mobile phones are switched on, it will automatically find an operator and customers can begin using their devices immediately.
Customers are encouraged to take the opportunity to enjoy VIVA’s extensive network of international roaming partners and stay in touch with friends, family or colleagues. Customers can make and receive calls, SMS text messages and use any of VIVA’s services in up to 170 countries with more than 400 roaming partners. VIVA also makes it possible for customers who own devices with data services with more than 215 operators in 115 countries supporting broadband data services.
