What’s with the new generation: Griping on Generation Y, the Millenials

This generation Y expects more and has access to more, arguably, in terms of technology and tools, but expects to work less.
what’s with the new generation?
Work not connections were what got us far in 'our' time! This new generation of 'Millennials' as they're sometimes touted, knows little of moving 'beneath', around and away from your 'station' and just mucking in for the greater good and faith in hard work paying off. We were not a snobby generation - we knew that multi-skills and down-to-earth came hand in hand. It was all character building. Now these newbies think they have the right to say no and FaceBook about it! Honestly.

Iran set to launch its own Internet
Ruling the oceans by the web is the new Empire-building it seems. Or building castles in cyberspace, if you like.
It's no longer about the nation state, but about the internet sovereignty. Define your own internet and you own a kingdom!
"As if it weren’t enough that Iran has already figured out how to foil America’s ‘Internet in a Suitcase’ before it has even come into existence, Iranian Communications Minister Resza Taqipour has announced plans for Iran to get its own Internet by the end of August."
