Self-Acceptance vs. Growth
"I have been overweight ever since I can remember, the last time I weighed normal was probably back when I was an infant. (And yep, there are pictures to prove it, woohoo) You see, I was born a little underweight and my parents overcompensated and fed me quite well."

FACEBOOK’S DISLIKE BUTTON
Not a satisfied customer? Do you need the right to dislike as well as like to feel like a complete Facebook user should?
"For years now, Facebook has evolved into bring what they have believed to enhance the user experience. They brought in polls, changed the gallery viewer, updating their policies notoriously and even allowing group admins to add you to groups that you don’t want to be part of, on most occasions most people would tweet or update their Facebook Status saying: “Dear Facebook, Thank You for the Polls, Still waiting for the dislike button” Or something within the lines of that."

The Long Walk Home… Finding Palestine
Walking Palestine. There's a book by this name. And it is a tiny skinny strip of land after all. And from the East Bank it's actually not a huge distance of coverage that make an unassailable distance to cross. Yet it's a 'long' way 'home' when you consider the trail is marred with potholes and mines...
Insurmountable? May 15 showed that it's not really that easy to cross international borders by foot- particularly when those borders are those of a state who wants you on the other side of the line for a reason.
"One of the many activities that took place this year to commemorate the tragic time when these people were ripped from their homes was a march of sorts. I’ve been hearing about it for months now. TetaBean and JiddoBean’s families both left Palestine and scattered. When TetaBean first told me that a group of people was organizing to “walk to Palestine” I thought, well that’s a long walk home."
