While Royals get married, so do Palestinian political rivals

Jordan's cultural scene is ripe with the opportunity to catch all the latest hitting our screens and twitterspheres: Here's the film talked of on one of the pair of Palestinian activists killed in the West Bank this month (this one the half Jewish/ Israeli, not the Italian); and introducing 'cultural heritage'.

"It had been ages since I last went to Al-Balad theatre, so last night I ambled over to check out a screening called “Arna’s Children” by Juliano Mer Khamis.

Juliano was an Israeli* Jew of Christian Arab heritage who established the ‘Freedom Theatre’ in Jenin, and was murdered for it in that city on April 4th."

I have been stunned to hear from a couple of people that I talked to (some are family members) that what the regime is doing is just because these people (protesters) want to destroy the country. They call them "mukharebeen" that is people that sabotage, vandalize and to put it simply, terrorists. They say those that attack public goods like buildings and such deserve what they are getting."
