Who is she? Probing into the case of the Missing Syrian Lesbian Blogger

Casting doubt on this Syrian/ American blogging lesbian's credibility: It does seem that there has been much misinformation the last couple of months with regards to the events in Syria, and some admittedly found the blog post on 'My Father,The Hero' , featured by Al Bawaba, strange at the time. Something fishy?

"Over the course of the day as I tracked the stories about Amina I noticed that all the articles sourced her blog, and then her other blog from 2007. I started looking for traces of her elsewhere. She has a Facebook page, but not a lot of other presence. "
