wi-tribe as part of the technical community, sponsored the “Amman Tech Tuesdays” initiative that took place at the Princess Sumaya University of Technology (PSUT) on the first of February.
“Amman Tech Tuesdays” is a two-hour program that occurs once a month on the first Tuesday of every month. It consists of a group of experts from various technological backgrounds, pioneers, decision makers, and marketing experts to develop innovative technological initiatives in Jordan.
For this reason, as part of wi-tribe’s commitment to the Jordanian youth and their technological projects, wi-tribe provided the wireless Internet service for this program. “Amman Tech Tuesdays” specialized in introducing the digital arts. The participants included Imad Hajaj from Abu Mahjoob Company, Mr. Amer Kokh from Crazy Piranha Company, Mr. Mohammad Shawash and representatives from Kharabeesh Company and Ana Arabi Company, Mr. Bashar Alaeddin from B Studio, Mr. Yousef Wadi, Mr. Khalid Al Husseini from Ishra7.com, and Mr. Fouad Jrais from D1G.com.
Discussions were held around technologies dealing with digital arts, 3D animation, and HTML5 among others.
Mr. Amer Sunna, CEO of wi-tribe, commented: “Because of our strong belief in the youth’s role in the community’s development and as the future decision makers, we always strive to lend a helping hand to support and serve them by offering anything that can add value to their initiatives armed with knowledge and hope. Furthermore, since technology in all its forms is the language of today, we were happy to sponsor ‘Amman Tech Tuesdays’ and we hope the program succeeds in helping the Jordanian youth meet the experts and exchange ideas. We hope to always serve the community in any way we can.”
It is worth mentioning that over 450 people attended the program and it was broadcasted worldwide via the Internet. The next program will take place on the first of March. For more information about this event, please visit AmmanTT.com, AmmanTT@twitter.com, or Facebook.com/AmmanTT.
