An airstrike launched by the Saudi-led alliance in Yemen appears to have struck an orphanage Saturday morning in Sana'a's al-Nahda neighbourhood, killing and injuring an unknown number of people, according to local medical sources.

23 more soldiers have succumbed to wounds suffered after an arms depot was hit by a surface-to-surface missile from Houthi rebels in Yemen, raising Friday's toll to 45.

A twin bomb blast in a Shia mosque killed at least 32 people in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. Scores of people were injured while Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack.

At least 18 civilians were reportedly killed by Saudi-led airstrikes across Yemen Tuesday. A number of areas were hit by Saudi jets in Yemen’s central province of al-Bayda and Taiz.
