At least 43 people died and more than 100 were hurt when a series of bombs went off in Shi'ite areas of Baghdad and in Anbar province on Friday, Iraqi police said. The attacks in Baghdad took place in Sadr City, near Shi'ite mosques and on a marketplace. The blasts happened while people were leaving the mosques after Friday prayers.
In Anbar province, roadside bombs killed six people and wounded 10 others, officials said.
