Dubai Customs Child Care Centre celebrates the graduation of its second graduates

Dubai Customs celebrated the graduation of its second graduates of Child Care Centre which is the first of its kind at the level of Government Departments in Dubai.

the celebration was commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran which followed by national anthem and some songs and then the graduates their parents who attended to share the joy received certificates   

Mr Yousef ALSahlawi, Senior Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, Executive Director of Policies and Legislation Division at Dubai Customs assured that Dubai Customs along with its employees give especial care for the enhancement of social aspects because this comes as part of Dubai Customs responsibilities to focus on community in which we operate. accordingly, this initiative of establishing standard child care as the first of its kind at the level of Dubai government departments in the Emirate comes within the national nursery project which adopted and sponsored by Sheikha Manal Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid ALMaktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed ALNahyan, President of Dubai Women Establishment

 Mrs. Feray Tawkul, Executive Director of Community Affairs and Government Partnership Division said: “the celebration with graduation of the second group ensures the success of this initiative which responsively adopted and followed by other government departments, especially, this increasingly invited interests of mothers to work in Dubai Customs and it also in turn increased loyalty of mothers towards Dubai Customs which helps care for their kids, providing them guard and education. in Dubai and other emirates, the Centre has become an example of admiration for all functional organization in the UAE that aspire to establish similar nurseries min their departments, interestingly, they rushed to visit the Centre, making use of its experience in this respect and practically similar child centers spread to emerge throughout the rest of all Emirates”

Her Highness Sheikha Manal Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid ALMaktoum inaugurated Dubai Customs Child Care Centre in April 2009 and it was announced as the first of its kind, based on best practices of DWE for national child care establishment and it is the pioneer center caring for children of working mothers in government departments

Dubai Customs by this national project aims at supporting and enabling working mothers in their workplaces, besides, the project sets out new opportunities for the emirate women through involving them in training program to qualify them work in child care centers in government departments. the project is carried out in coordination with a number of related agencies in the country to ensure corporate implementation of the project at the level of Dubai Government

the staff which include a number of national employees had their role played in boosting the name of the Centre until it became one of the most renown nursery at the level of Dubai, the center is operated by specialized persons, including, an experienced nurse, female general supervisor, oculist, dentist and pediatrician, their job is to do medical check to children two times every month.
