Dubal’s Marwan Al Sawaleh (General Manager: Human Resources) and Mohammed Y Bin Yaqoob (Manager: Employee Relations & Services) welcomed the delegates, who represented various divisions namely Quality, Insurance, Training, Rescue, Planning, Human Resources, Vehicle Documentation, Marine Pollution, Compensation, and Performance Management.
Established in 1979 to add value to the energy resources of the Emirate, Dubal has an established reputation as an industry and sector leader in the region. The company is widely acknowledged as the UAE’s industrial flagship and a world-class player in the global Aluminium market. Not only does Dubal own and operate one of the largest single-site primary aluminium smelters in the world, with a production capacity of more than 1,000,000 metric tonnes per year; but the company is also recognized as a pace-setter, achieved through ongoing pioneering and benchmarking driven by a spirit of continuous improvement.
A half-day programme was presented, with representatives from Dubal addressing various topics including Balance Score Card (Business Performance), Insurance, Compensation & Benefits, Organization & Development, Recruitment & National Development Programmes, Supply & Employee Relations & Services. The delegates were very interested in the material presented, as evidenced by the extensive list of questions posed to the presenters.
Both parties exchanged memorable gifts. On behalf of the delegation, Mr Al Suwaidi expressed his sincere thanks for the hospitable visit and invited Dubal to pay a return visit to Dubai Police Headquarters.
Dubai Police Force was established on June 01, 1956, and was based in "Naif Fort," as its Headquarters, until the year 1973 when it was moved to the current location. "Naif Fort" was transformed, later, into one of Dubai Police Stations.
We, Dubai Police, are proud to be an Arab modern police establishment with a force of more than fifteen thousand employees who are characterized by their degrees of high-level multi specialties and training. We are also proud to be one of the best security institutions, at all levels; locally, regionally, and globally.
