Dubai police authorities busted one heavy drug load this week-a country record, reported Agence France-Presse Monday.
More than 4.6 million Captagon pills, worth more than $31 million (23 million euros), were seized in the Emirates.
The aphetamine-like stimulant, also known as fenethylline, has been increasingly popular in the Middle East, with high rates of trafficking reported in the Emirates as well a Lebanon.
Dubai police authorities further told AFP that more than five people were involved in the busted record shipment. Three have been arrested, but two others still remain at large.
