A man shot and killed a woman during Sunday Mass in a church in the town of Hmaiss in Zgharta, local media reported.
The man, identified as Maroun Y., went inside the church during the service and shot the woman using a hunting rifle, according to local media. Security forces arrived to the scene and arrested him.
Local media said the victim had demanded the man pay overdue rent multiple times.
