‘Before Sunset’: Nadin Takes Care of ‘Little Women’

Syrian actress Nadin is currently shooting the new TV drama Qabl al Ghuroub (Before Sunset), in which she plays the role of a mother which was played by actress Fadia al Khattab in the first part of the series entitled Nisaa Saghirat (Little Women) directed by Basel al Khatib. 

The new part is directed by Fahed Miri who told the London-based daily al Hayat that “the TV drama Qabl al Ghuroub emphasizes the human right to dream and hope.”  

Costarring in the series are a number of Syrian film stars, including Asaad Fedda, Bassam Kusa, Nadin, Salma al Massri, Rafiq Sbea’i, Amal Arafa and Abdel Hadi Sabbagh.  

The 25-episode series is produced by the general department of Syrian TV and Radio.  

Qabl al Ghuroub was scripted by Hassan Sami and Najib Naseer, who previously collaborated on two other TV series, Nisaa Saghirat (Little Women) based on Louisa May Alcott’s novel and directed by Basel al Khatib, and Asrar al Madina (Secrets of the City) directed by Hisham Sharbatji.  

Miri’s latest work has been the successful TV series Qalb Dafi (Warm Heart) written by Hassan Sami Yousef and Diana Fares and costarring Bassam Kusa, Samar Sami and Sulaf Fawakherji – Albawaba.com
