‘Destinies’ Tackles Youth Problems in Globalization Age

Egyptian director Sherif Yehya is gearing up for shooting his new film Aqdar (Destinies) costarring Sawsan Bader and Farouq al Fishawi, according to the London-based Arabic daily al Sharq al Awsat. 

The film tackles the most important problems, which the new generation faces including unemployment, globalization, adolescence and sex. The screenwriter attempts to find solutions that suit these problems. 

Earlier Bader participated in the historic series al Aqdar (The Destinies) along with Sumayyah al Alfi, Ezzat al A’laili. Eiman and Mohammed Nagati and played the role as a woman working at the court of King Chofu. 

The Egyptian actress is currently shooting her role in the 7-episode series al Dash wa al Mesh along with Yousef Shaaban, Tayseer Fahmi and a large number of actors. 

Bader has recently won a prize for best actress for her role in the film al Abwab al Mughlakah (Locked Doors) at the 28th Film Society Festival -- Albawaba.com
