In spite of the increased number and enhanced presence of the new generation actors and movies over the last couple of years, the famous Egyptian actor Nour al-Sherif proved once again that majority of the Egyptian actors and Cinematographers acclaimed him as the Best Actor for his role in the film "Kalam fil Mamnoue", according to ArabStars.Net.
The awards were distributed as follows:
Best Actor: Nour al-Sherif for his role in "Kalam fill Mamnoue".
Best Actress: Lucy for her role in “Korssy fil Club".
Best Supporting Actor: Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra for his role in "Ard al-Khouf".
Best supporting Actor: Majeda Zaki for her role in "al-Sharaf".
Best Film Director: Ossama Fawzi for his film "Janet al-Sheateen".
Best Film Cinematography: Maher Radi for the film “al-Sharaf".
Best Film Writing Screenplay/Scenario: Naji Georges for the film "Kalam fill Mamnoue”.
Best Art Direction-Set Decoration: Mokhtar Abdel Jawad for the film "Korssy fil Club".
Best Monteur: Khaled Moussa for the movie "Janet Al Shaeteen"
Best Film Music Sound: Rajaa Daoud for the film "Kalam fil Mamnoue".
Best Film Production: Sultan al-Kashef for the film "Korssy fil Club".
Best Film Editing: Sameh al-Bajoury who passed away two months ago, for the film "Korssy fil Club".
Best Film Poster: Sara Abdel Moneem for the film "Film Sakafy".
The Festival Jury also awarded the famous Egyptian actor Kamal al-Shenaouie the Jury Special Award for his long and outstanding achievements in the history of the Egyptian Cinema.
The jury also honored a number of older Egyptian Actors such as Leila Fawzi, Showikar, the late film director Ashraf Fahmy, the late actor Emad Hamdy and the late Helmy Rafla.
This year, famous actors Ahmed Ramzy and Hassan Hosni were not honored since they did not attend the ceremony.
Actor Farouq al-Feeshawi received the award on behalf of Nour al-Sherif who did not attend because he had to travel to the Valencia Film Festival for the premiere of his latest film "al-Ashiqan".
Mahmoud Yasseen, Mahmoud Hemeda, Attef Salem, Jalal al-Sherkawi, Mervat Amin, Farouq al-Feeshawi, Omar al-Hariri, Khaled Zaki and very large numbers of Egyptian Stars, attended the ceremony which included a performance by singer Najwa Fouad and her band.
