Early in 1999 five three young documentary film makers set off into the Maryland woods to film some footage of the supposed evil, ‘Blair Witch.’ However, the three disappeared leaving only a semi-ruined video reel for clues as to what happened to them. Sure enough, the audience finds out that all three were killed by the ‘Blair Witch.’
In case you haven’t noticed, that was the plot of last year’s surprise mega-hit, The Blair Witch Project.
This year, five young people obsessed for various reasons with last year's low-budget blockbuster venture into the same spooky Maryland woods where the film was shot. The misguided youngsters barely have time to set up their video equipment, however, before enough weird things start happening.
This Horror is rated R for violence, language, sexuality and drug use.
The cast includes Kim Director, Jeffrey Donovan, Erica Leerhsen, Tristine Skyler and Stephen Barker Turner.
The film was directed by Joe Berlinger, Produced by Daniel Myrick an Eduardo Sanchez and written by Jon Bokencamp and Neal Stevens.
It was released by Artisan Entertainment.
The movie’s running time is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Its 2nd time around the Box Office, earned the film $5,300,000, giving it a total of $22,100,000.
