Ahmad Zaki back in hospital

Prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki has been admitted to Al Foad Hospital in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Egypt once more to undergo more tests for a period of two days. This time the actor admitted himself to ensure that his health condition is stable before beginning to shoot the first scenes of his upcoming film “Halim”, in which he portrays the role of late Egyptian legendary singer Abdul Halim Hafez.


According to the London based Elaph, several dates had been previously set to begin shooting the first scenes, but were postponed for different reasons. This time a final date was decided on and the filming will begin on January 18. A press conference will be held before filming the scenes, where the actor will give out some details regarding the film.


The film will be shot during the winter and spring seasons between Morocco and Egypt in the hope of having it ready for screening during the summer. The producing company


Recently, Zaki was offered 8 million EGP or an equal amount of any foreign currency by the Dubai production company This is the first time in history an Egyptian actor get such a high offer. The production company made this offer for Ahmad to start in the movie of his choice.


The cost for the production will be between 15-20 million EGP, this is also the first for such an offer in the Arabic cinema history. The actor was persuaded by the numbers, however he had to make sure if there were any unknown conditions. The crew of the film "Halim" are fearing any delays that might occur in the making of the film while Zaki goes to Dubai to sign his new contract.


Do to his recent health condition; the production offered to film the new work at any location of Zaki’s choice. They also included that there will be doctors present while he is working on his new film.
