Two of Egypt's biggest stars, Ahmed El Sakka and Yusra Al Lawzi have stirred controversy with a series of sexy promotional photos for their latest drama, 'Khutoot Hamra' (Red Lines.) In the pictures, the actors are shown embracing with Yusra wearing a strapless minidress.
Now fans have taken to Facebook and Twitter to tell producers how angry they are, particularly as the drama is designed for the holy month of Ramadan. Many see it as disrespectful for what's supposed to be a month or religious contemplation for Muslims.
Ahmed is still filming the remaining scenes of the drama despite the fact that it has already begun airing on the first day of Ramadan. According to the producer of the drama Mahmoud Shams, producers will still be doing last minute filming until half way through the month. The story revolves around a police officer that turns into an arms dealer.
