With word out on the Arab street that Amr Diab's new album would be out on September 20 - the official release date as announced by production giant Rotana -- fans were a little surprised to find one of the songs from new album "Shuft Al Ayam" (I've Seen The Days or The Things I've Seen) already leaked on the internet.

Sayidaty.net reports that the rogue song doing the net rounds was "Janna",  a special dedication from the Father of Mediterannean Music, himself, to his daughter 'Janna'.

Some people have speculated that Daddy's dedication was pushed out by the company itself, a trend that has been seen previously by this particular artist ahead of official release dates. Diab's gimmick, while setting the the rumor mill a-flap, has made only slight dents to albums containing close to a dozen tracks that can afford the stray leak or premature release.

Well, leak or promotion stunt, get listening to this father-daughter homage, to all the Daddy's girls out there, and let us know what you think! Words of wisdom or sentimental baloney?
