We all know that working with Ahlam on Arab Idol can’t be easy, but sweet singer Nancy Ajram says she has no regrets about her participation on the popular talent show.
In an interview with Sayidaty.net, the starlet shared that she was skeptical at first about sitting at the judge’s bench for AI’s second season, but now she’s very happy she took on the challenging position alongside Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama, UAE singer Ahlam and Egyptian composer Hassan Al Shafei.
The posh Atlantis Nakhla Hotel in Dubai set the location for the interview that Nancy held after a grand performance as a part of the “Arab Travel Exhibition”. She went on to say that she has in fact grown close with her fellow judges but let it be known that the flirtations with Ragheb are totally innocent, so don’t get the wrong idea about their relationship!
The two-year contract she signed with the makers of the show indicates that we’ll get another dose of the Lebanese singer next season, a matter which should make fans happy considering they have given her lots of positive feedback about her role on the show.
Nancy may be a little exhausted from balancing all her duties on the show, on tour, and at home with the fam, but she is still set to release a new album this summer after an initial delay caused by the problems facing the region.
