ALBAWABA - This week's SNL episode went viral across social media after American singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks took to the stage for the first time since 1983 and sang her iconic song 'Edge of Seventeen' bringing back fans down memory lane.
Joining Stevie Nicks on stage as a host was fellow American singer-songwriter, Ariana Grande. 40 years ago, Nicks took to SNL's stage on season 9, episode 8, and sang her songs 'Stand Back' and 'Nightbird'.
During season 50, episode 3, Other stars joined the stage including Maya Rudolph, Andy Samberg, Jim Gaffigan, and Dana Carvey.

The episode in question was received positively on social media and was deemed the "Best episode ever" by fans of both singers as they praised their performances on stage.
According to AP, Grande hosted to promote her upcoming Wizard of Oz prequel 'Wicked' which will be a Fantasy Musical that is expected to hit cinema screens on Nov. 22, 2024.
Grande who first hosted SNL in 2014 said, "The last time I hosted was in 2016, and we were right on the verge of electing our first female president," and added, "So, I guess, second time’s the charm?"
During her performance, Grande promised not to do her signature impressions of fellow singers Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and Gwen Stefani but later made a long skit impersonating the iconic Celine Dion.
American actor Michael Keaton is set to host the next episode of SNL who will be joined by Billie Eilish. John Mulaney and Chappell Roan as guests.
