Syrian singer Asalah Nasri has taken advantage of her stay in Beirut and filmed a new music video for the song “Asfa” (Sorry) under the direction of Lebanese director Salim Turk, over a period of two days.
The story of the clip revolves around a woman, played by Asalah, whose husband has betrayed her. She discovers that her husband is having an affair with another woman, catching him red handed in bed with his mistress on the couple’s wedding anniversary.
The woman leaves her husband peacefully, deciding it is not worth it to confront him.
Asalah recently held a spectacular charity concert, sponsored by the Lions Club at the Cairo Opera House, from which all proceeds were donated to the construction of a new hospital in Cairo.
The event began with the screening of a documentary film about the Lions Club and a speech by the Club president thanking Asalah for her generosity and for making such a valuable contribution to the charity.
Besides her charity work, Asalah recently had plastic surgery on her nose, and has confirmed that she is very satisfied with her new look.
Asalah explained that the operation was necessary to remove excess tissue from her nose, which was affecting her voice. While undergoing the surgery she took advantage of the opportunity to improve upon Mother Nature’s work.
Asalah has signed a new contract with Rotana during a special ceremony in Dubai. Negotiations between the two continued for three years, until an agreement was finally reached.
