Rihanna gig ticket holders have been warned to check they bought their tickets from an authorised source after organisers warned of fraudulent sales.

The pop star plays the du Arena in Abu Dhabi on Saturday night.

However, a spokesperson for gig organisers FLASH Entertainment warned on Friday: "It has been brought to the attention of FLASH that a number of tickets for Rihanna's concert on October 19 at du Arena have been acquired by fraudulent means.

"Tickets purchased in this way are commonly resold by touts, either in person or through online listings.

"Any ticket which has been acquired by fraudulent means is invalid, and will be cancelled automatically with no refund.

"Holders of invalid tickets will be refused admittance to the concert, and will be required to purchase another to gain access."

The spokesperson added: "FLASH stresses that fans should purchase their Rihanna concert tickets only from official and authorized sellers in the UAE - ticketmaster.ae, Virgin Megastores, Jacky's Electronics or the venue box office (du Arena).

"General admission tickets are still available to purchase from official points of sale."
