Mario Asta, business manager of Lebanese singer Carole Samaha, denied news reports that the singer withdrew from the The X-Factor judging committee in its second season. Mario stated that negotiations are still underway with the organizers of the program, and all talks thus far are positive. He added that none of the former stars that took part in season one of 'The X-Factor' have renewed their contracts due to the preoccupation of the producing company of the show with the program 'Star Academy', which is currently being aired.
According to Sayidaty.net, Mario denied reports that Carole has overlooked her participation in the program due to disputes with Lebanese singer Elissa, who is also a judge on the program, and stressed that there are no misunderstanding between the two ladies and all that was said is not true. He added that each singer had her own team of contestants and the competition that occurred between each team is the nature of the program.
With regards to Carole's New Year's Eve performance, Mario stated that the singer has not signed any contract to hold a performance because she's focusing all her attention on her musical play "Al Sayidah" (The Lady), which is currently being shown. Mario added that Carole received numerous offers to hold different performances, but she turned them down for the sake for the sake of the play.
