Away from the Egyptian youth’s comedy wave, the film Sahar al Liali (Wake up at Nights) monitors, within a romantic and social framework, a number of problems which the youth face at the beginning of their marriage life.

The disputes were monitored by the young writer Tamer Habib in his cinema debut through four couples who were linked with friendship, which started during study. The friendship between the couples developed and ended into marriage. Husbands recall the memories of their youth and friendship as changes take place after they are linked with family ties.

The two stars Muna Zaki and Fathi Abdel Wahhab play the role as first couple. Five years after marriage the wife discovers that her husband betrays her, the fact that causes her a severe shock but despite all that she keeps this secret which she discovers by chance and reveals it only at the end of the film.

The second model is played by the comedy duo Ahmed Hilmi and Hanan Turk who are university colleagues. Problems keep besieging their life because the husband feels that his wife does not like him.

The third model is played by the two stars Jihan Fadhel and Khaled Abu al Naga who are linked with family ties before marriage which cast their shadows on their marriage relationship.

Everybody reiterates that the film directed by Hani Khalifa will mark a turn in the life of all its stars and that it was scripted with great care. The film has been wrapped up and will be screened at the beginning of the forthcoming summer season -- Albawaba.com
