Egyptian Film Stars Join ‘Princess from Abdeen’

The teamwork of the series Amirah Min Abdeen (Princess from Abdeen) will start next month shooting the episodes in which a large number of Egyptian stars participate, according to the UAE daily al Bayan. 

The young actress Hanan Tork has joined the cast, as she will play the role as the daughter of Amirah (played by Samira Ahmed) in the series written by Osama Anwar Okasha and directed by Ahmed Saqer. The music for the 30-episode series will be composed by the prominent musician Ammar al Sheraie’i. 

Actor Yousef Shaaban will play the role as Abdel Munsef, second husband for Amirah who helps her achieve her social status despite the presence of a son and a daughter from her first husband who died as a Martyr in the war. Mohammed Riyadh plays the role as Raafat (Amirah’s first husband) and as son Jamal. 

Actress Samihah Ayyoub plays the role as the children’s aunt while Samirah Abdel Aziz plays the role as Amirah’s sister. Ragaa al Giddawi plays the role as Gamal’s mother in law and wife of an ambassador at the foreign ministry played by Hasan Kami. Faridah Saif al Naser plays the role as a lady who meets Amirah in the jail. This is in addition to many other key roles in the series played by Hasan Hosni, Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, Ibrahim Yusri and others --
