Elissa's "bikini" caused controversy on Monday after she posted a snapshot of herself sunbathing by the sea on Instagram!
She wrote the caption: “Relaxing day #lebanon #fakra #elissa i need it.”
The Lebanese superstar was taking a break from her hectic schedule by spending some quality time relaxing under the sun in beautiful Beirut.
Although many of the singer's fans were more than happy to treat their eyes to Elissa's almost bare body, others gasped at the revealing picture and demanded that she takes it down!
“Please delete it Elissa,” one Instagram user, Ali al Jaber, wrote.
Elissa has never really posted such a picture, as she's known for her classy style, even when she's wearing the most revealing of outfits!
“It is weird, it is the first time she publishes such a picture. It seems that she wants to sell more,” Arwaal3seeri said.
In other news - away from Elissa's hot body and closer to Enrique Iglesias's hotter self - the singer is said to have refused to hold a press conference prior to her upcoming Egypt concert in solidarity with Enrique, who was apparently mistreated during the press conference he held before his recent Porto Golf Marina concert in Egypt.
Officials at the "Helwa Ya Baladi" (My Country, You're Beautiful) Festival, which will take place in Ghardaqa, announced that Elissa will be holding a grand performance after an absence of four years from Egypt, reports Laha Magazine.
