Female stars taking lead roles in the cinema this “Eid Al Adha”

According to the Qatari daily Al Rayah, a new trend is dominating the coming “Eid Al Adha” movie season.  The majority of leading role are going to female stars and famous young Egyptian actors like Karim Abed Al Aziz, Ahmad Al Saqa and Ahmad Iz will not appear in any of the new films to be released this “Eid” season.


The Egyptian actress Yasmin Abed Al Aziz will star in the new film “Al Dada Dodi” (The Nanny Dodi), her first leading role. She plays the role of a poor young woman forced to work as a nanny.


 Haifa Wahbe stars in the new film “Dukan Shahateh” (Shahateh’s Supermarket), directed by Khaled Yousif.


 The young Egyptian actress May Iz Al Deen will star in the new film “Habibi Na’iman” (My Love IS Sleeping). The comedy also stars Egyptian actor Khaled Abu Al Naja and is directed by Ahmad Al Badri. 


The comedic actress Abla Kamel will star in the new film “Balitah Al Aymah,” directed by Ali Rajab.


 The Egyptian actress Ghada Abed Al Razaq has the leading role in the new film “Azmat Sharaf” (Honor Crises). The film was written by Tareq Barakat and directed by the producer Walid Al Tab’ie.


 There are other well-known female actors that will appear in film this “Eid Al Adha” season, like the famous Egyptian actress Elham Shaheen, Syrian actress Jomanah Murad, Egyptian artist Ruby, and the Lebanese artist Marwa.
