Qatari rally champion Nada Zeidan has always been known for being a bit unique, but now we wonder if she just might be a little cray cray after she announced to the Lebanese newspaper "Al Akhbar" that she had married seriously ill Syrian star George Wassouf.
"George is my husband, we had gotten married a while ago and we live together and I accompany him on all his trips," she was quoted as saying.
The report was all kinds of confusing because George is one happily married man to Shalimar, who has stood by his side through all the ups and downs, in sickness and in health.
Some did believe Nada's statement to the newspaper. "Congratulations my dear friend Nada Zeidan, champion of rallies and queen of competitions, on your marriage to the Sultan of Tarab George Wassouf, Congrats Nidoo," wrote one of Nada's Facebook friends Ghada Asfour on her wall.
"Thank you dear and hopefully you will be next," Nada allegedly replied.
But another reason some immediately doubted the news was the lack of details on when, where, and whom was present, according to Sayidaty.net.
Furthermore, and we love us some George Wassouf as much as the next girl, the dude has been seriously sick for some time now. Why would he be tying the knot to another woman so late in the game?
Maybe she's not crazy, and she's just trying to play a prank and put herself in the spotlight. The talented artist's son George Jr. is ready to take her right back out and put her in her place.
"This news is not true one bit, and it is mere rumors written in the press, which aim is mere amusement and creating gossip," he reportedly said in a phone call to get his take on all the gossip.
