Egyptian singer Hani Shaker will include a duet, “Ana Qalbi Leik” (My Heart is for You), with Egyptian singer Shireen on his new album to be released this month, according to the Qatari daily Al Raya.
“Ana Qalbu Leik” was written by poet Baha Al Deen Muhammad and composed by Muhammad Diya.
Hani and Shireen’s producers, ‘High Quality Production’ and ‘Rotana’ respectively, agreed to the inclusion of the duet.
Shireen said that she is honored to work with a well known singer like Hani. Likewise, Hani said that he is pleased to work with Shireen, whose beautiful voice is of highest quality in the Arab World.
The new song came into the spotlight recently after Hani resolved a dispute between Shireen and her former producer Naser Mahroos.
Hani and Shireen have performed the duet at numerous events, and recently at the Egyptian ‘Cairo Opera House’.
Hani, Shireen, and Egyptian singer Muhammad Munir recently held a concert in Sudan. The concert was held in Darfur, benefiting families who are struggling to survive.
