Jealousy got the better of Moroccan diva Dounia Batma once again, as she resorted to staying in the limelight by bashing the Arabs' sweeatheart, Mohammed Assaf.
You've picked the wrong guy to mess with, Dounia, because his army of fans won't let you get away with claiming that "fame has changed Assaf for the worse."
Dounia didn't stop there. The 25-year-old singer had the audacity to question what Assaf has contributed to the music industry, while insisting that "I would never duet with him; I would duet with a real star, not a beginner."
Excuse us, missy, where have you been since 2013? Have you not counted the uncountable number of international concerts Assaf has done since then?
What about his numerous charitable projects alongside the UN and the many awards he's won in recognition of his MUSIC AND ART?!
This isn't the first Dounia insulted the Arab Idol winner. In 2014, Dounia accused the superstar of being "conceited, full of himself and unappreciative of those that had supported him at the start of his career."
Assaf, who is renowned for his distinct humbleness, responded to Dounia at the time by saying, "I can't imagine that such statements were made about me, by you. At the end of the day, I've only met you once in my entire life, so why would you hold so much hatred for me? Why are you so spiteful?."
