Syrian actress Jumana Murad surprised the entertainment world after word slipped out that she'd secretly wedded Jordanian lawyer Rabi Beisaiso. The private ceremony in Cairo was attended only by the couple's family. Never fear, VIP, a huge bash in the newlyweds' honor is going down. Now that their relationship is in the public eye, a huge, extravagant second wedding will take place for all friends and family in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
So where did this secret hubby even come from, and why didn't we know about him?
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, Jumana revealed that the first time she met Rabi was at a family gathering, and it was love at first sight for both of them. She added that immediately after their first meeting the relationship progressed and turned towards walking down the aisle. Jumana said that she is grateful she finally met the man of her dreams, whom she has been waiting for all her life.
Jumana said that love is the essence of life and she cannot live without it (the girls got needs, ok?). That being said, she'd refused to be married the traditional way, and that is why she waited all this time until Rabi entered her life to tie the knot. Now she's stoked to spend the best years of her life with him.
Jumana stated that her husband, who nicknamed her 'Juju', is very understanding of the nature of her work and does not interfere. She added that Rabi supports her in all her decisions regarding her career and will not stand in her way. Jumana revealed that she is preparing to star in a new television drama that will be composed of 90 episodes as well as reading other scripts for future projects to star in.
Jumana noted that Rabi had watched all her previous work and never opposed any of the roles she played or imposed his opinion on the nature of the ones she should accept. The actress said that the nature of her husband's work will divide their residency between Saudi Arabia and Cairo.
Jumana stressed that she will always give the number one priority to her home especially in the coming period, due to the fact that being married means new responsibilities for her that require she manages her time between home and work.
Looks like she's got herself one supportive man!
