Head of the Music Association Union, Monther Al Wasimi, is investigating a suit filed by the Egyptian music distributer Tareq Abed Al Jaber against famous Lebanese artist Elissa. Al Jaber has accused Elissa of stealing his song ideas and then giving them to a Lebanese music distributer.

The distributer Al Jaber claims that Elissa took from him the original version of the songs “Al Te’rafsh Leh” (Doesn’t Know Why), (Masdoomah” (Shocked) and “La Ash Wala Kan” (Doesn’t Exist). He said that Elissa liked his song ideas, but had asked him to put the name of a Lebanese distributer on the songs beside his name and he declined.

After the album was released Al Jaber said that he was shocked to see the name of the Lebanese distributer credited without his. Al Jaber also claims that Elissa never paid him for his expenses.
