After an absence that lasted for over two years, Egyptian singer Mustafa Amar has returned to the music scene with a new album. The album is scheduled to be in stores in the upcoming few days and is produced by Alam El Phan Production Company.

According to the London based Elaph, as it is his custom, Mustafa is trying to attract attention to his new album by using the latest technology while filming two music videos he intends on releasing with the album. The first song “Lisa habaib” (Still Lovers) is written by Khaled Taj El Din and composed by Amro Mustafa and the second song “Ma Bahibikeesh” (I don’t love you) is written Nabil Khalaf and composed by Amar himself.

Both songs were filmed in France under the direction of French director Stefan Bernard and they will be aired on the music channels ‘Mazika’ and ‘Zoom’.

On a different note, after months of constantly postponing shooting the scenes of the upcoming film “Isabit Al Daktour Omar” (Dr. Omar’s Gang) for different reasons, the cast of the film had resumed filming of the first scenes in the hope of having it ready for screening during the second Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha.

The film, which stars Mustafa Amar had been postponed after Egyptian actor Muna Shalabi suddenly withdrew.  She apologized and said her departure was due to her preoccupation with another new film with actor Karim Abdul Aziz.

The film is to be directed by Ali Idrees and Mustafa, the same charismatic duo that produced the film “Hareem Kareem” (Kareem’s Woman).  The screenplay was written by Zeinab Aziz.

The story of the new movie revolves around a young psychiatrist who treats his patients in a strange manner which lead him to fall into a number of obstacles the biggest being his falling in love with one of his female patients.

The doctor becomes so involved with his patient who is a compulsive thieve and he (the doctor) commits a crime with her endangering his career.

Mustafa revealed that the film is his eight.
