For the first time since her rise to stardom, Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram revealed a photo of her father and posted it on her official page on the internet social network Twitter. The photo is of Nancy, her sister and her father on his birthday.
Nancy also posted a special message along with the picture wishing her father a very happy birthday and a long and healthy life and ended the message with I love you very much.
The picture confused some of Nancy’s fans especially since she addressed her father using the name “Babooti” when it is known that her father’s real name is “Nabeel”, which is also her brother’s name.
The singer’s fans began posting questions whether the man in the picture is really her father, who she confirmed that it was and they also wished him a very happy birthday.
Several years ago a rumor had circulated that Nancy’s father was American and some people had posted a photo of an American man on the internet claiming that he was her father. The rumor added Nancy’s father had abandoned her when she was young and returned to America. Nancy did not comment on the rumors at the time and just let the matter go.
