It's true, Lebanese singer Nawal el Zoghbi might be taking on acting for the first time ever in a new musical TV series set for release next Ramadan.
According to Tayyar news, the gifted starlet is one of the top nominees for the lead female role in the series. She's reportedly competing for the title against Jordanian singer Diana Karazon and Egyptian singer Amal Hijazi.
Surely Nawal will excel at acting? She does a convincing job in her music videos after all.
The Syrian-Arab production was written by Bahar Lawdissa, will be directed by Eyad Nahhas and will be filmed in Syria, Lebanon and the UAE.
