Lebanese singer Nourhanne left a major issue unresolved during a recent press conference for the release of her latest music video “Tab Wana Mali” (What is it my Business).

She did not mention the original music distributor for the song “Tab Wana Mali”, whose name is Nasseem, and instead had placed the name of distributor Adel Aish on the album.

According to the London based Elaph, Nasseem claims that he is the distributor of the song and has the documents to prove it.

Nasseem said that it all began when Nourhanne’s business manager, Gilber Fayad, offered him a collection of songs to distribute and he chose “Tab Wana Mali.”

Nasseem stressed that when he confronted Fayad about the mater, the latter showed no interest, and said that Nasseem had never given him the complete distribution and so gave it to Adel..

Nasseem added that he will take the matter to court to ensure his rights are protected and he will do whatever it takes.

Nourhanne had held a special launching ceremony for her latest music video for the song "Tab Wana Mali", under the direction of Camille Tanyous from Lebanon, surrounded by friends, colleagues, and the media.

After ironing out a few technical glitches the new video was presented, and Nourhanne held a press conference in which she answered questions regarding the clip, her work, and even her personal life.

According to the London based Elaph, the singer had broken a taboo by arriving before the guests to supervise preparations and welcome everyone as they arrived. Usually artists arrive after the last guest had been seated to create an air of prestige.

The song dates back to the fifties, originally featured in the film "Bain Al Qasrain" (Between Castles), written by novelist Najib Mahfouz.  Egyptian actor Nadia Lutfi played the leading role alongside Yahia Shahin.

In the clip Nourhanne plays the role of a movie star, based on Nadia Lutfi’s character from the film.
