Prominent Egyptian actor Omar Al Hariri has passed away at the Egyptian Al Jala military hospital at the age of 86 after he was admitted for several days. The funeral ceremony will take place today at the Abu Bakr Al Sadeeq Mosque and he will be buried at the Imam Al Shafe’ie cemetery.
The late actor had felt very sick during the showing of his play “Hadeeqat Al Athkiya” (Garden of the intelligent) and was taken to hospital to be treated after which he was released two days later. Shortly after his release, Omar’s condition worsened and was taken back to hospital where he passed away.
Omar’s prestigious journey in the acting world consists of 180 films, 85 television dramas and 32 plays. He was recognized for his great achievements as an actors in several awards ceremonies and is known to be an icon in the acting world.
