We don't know if Egyptian actor Omar Sharif has a problem with homosexuals, but we do know that his grandson Omar Junior is an openly gay man.
According to Laha magazine, last August, Omar Junior told an American magazine that he's gay and proud, adding that he is looking to start a family in a country that respects him and understands his needs.
It's bad news for the self-confessed half Jewish Junior if he was thinking of visiting Egypt, as it's constitutional court has just granted the Egyptian Ministry of Interior the right to ban any homosexuals from entering the country.
So grandpa, unless you're thinking of going to the US (where Omar Junior lives) next April, your grandson might have to celebrate your birthday over Twitter once again!
Sorry good looking, not even your famous granddad can get you out of this one!
